Practical Uses for Teaching, Communication and Digital Projects
Drones are becoming increasingly relevant in education, communication, research, media production and institutional development. They can support project-based learning, STEM activities, environmental observation, digital storytelling, campus documentation, promotional content, event coverage and creative teamwork.
This practical Erasmus+ course is designed not only for teachers, but also for institutional staff and educational professionals who want to understand how drone technology can be used responsibly and creatively. The course does not aim to replace official drone pilot training or certification. Instead, it focuses on educational applications, project design, safety awareness, digital competence, teamwork and institutional use.
Throughout the week, participants will explore examples of drone-based projects, basic flight planning, visual storytelling, ethical and safety considerations, data collection, communication strategies and collaborative project development. The course includes hands-on activities, group challenges, reflection tasks and practical planning.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to identify realistic drone applications for their own institution and design a small drone-based project connected to teaching, communication, sustainability, digital skills or institutional development.
